PUBLIC NOTICE SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 1208 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LOS BANOS (1) APPROVING SECOND AMENDMENT TO DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT RELATIVE TO THE DEVELOPMENT KNOWN AS "VILLAGES AT STONECREEK IV", (2) MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS RELATED THERETO, AND (3) AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY. On June 4, 2025 the Los Banos City Council introduced Ordinance No. 1208, which if adopted will authorize the Mayor to execute a second amendment to development agreement relative to the development known as Villages at Stonecreek IV. A copy of the complete text of the Ordinance is on file with the City Clerk, at 520 J Street, Los Banos, California. Upon passage of this Ordinance, the Mayor is authorized to execute a Second Amendment to Development Agreement relative to the project known as Villages at Stonecreek IV. The purpose of a Development Agreement is to vest (or guarantee) to local jurisdictions and property owners the rules and regulations applicable to the development of the subject property for a set period of time. The subject of the Development Agreement is the development of 125.76 acres commonly referred to as Villages at Stonecreek IV located within the Stonecreek Area Plan in the southwest quadrant of the City of Los Banos. The Second Amendment will extend the term of the Development Agreement for an additional ten (10) years terminating July 15, 2035.
